10 Strangers Animals That Success On The Planet

1. Axototl
The axolotl is a Mexican neotenic mole salamander. Neotenic means that, as adults, it holds onto traits seen in juveniles. Axolotls are used extensively in scientific research due to their ability to regenerate most body parts, ease of breeding, and large embryos.

2. Cicada
With 2,500 species of cicada insects around the world, some are stranger than others.

3. Aye-aye
The aye-aye is a rodent-looking lemur found in Madagascar that combines rodent-like teeth with a long, thin middle finger to fill the same ecological niche as a woodpecker.

4. Star-nosed Mole
The star-nosed mole is a small North American mole found in eastern Canada and the north-eastern United States, with records extending along the Atlantic coast as far as extreme southeastern Georgia.

5. Philippine Tarsier
The Philippine Tarsier, known locally as the Maumag in Cebuano/Visayan, is an endangered tarsier species endemic to the Philippines. It is found in the southeastern part of the archipelago, particularly in the islands of Bohol, Samar, Leyte, and Mindanao. Its name is derived from its elongated “tarsus” or ankle bone.

6. The angora rabbit
The angora rabbit is a domesticated species, known for its cultivated hair. The Angora is one of the oldest types of domestic rabbit, originating in Ankara, Turkey, along with the Angora cat and Angora goat.

7. Giant Isopod
Giant isopods can be found in cold and deep sea, primarily in the Atlantic.

8. Kiwa hirsuta (Yeti Crab)
This crustacean was discovered in the South Pacific Ocean in 2005 and is noted for its “fur-like” extensions. This decapod, which is approximately 15 cm (6 inches) long, is notable for the quantity of silky blond setae (resembling fur) covering its pereiopods (thoracic legs, including claws). Its discoverers dubbed it the “yeti lobster” or “yeti crab.”

9. Leafy Sea Dragon
The name is derived from the appearance, with long leaf-like protrusions coming from all over the body. These protrusions are not used for propulsion; they serve only as camouflage. The leafy sea dragon propels itself by means of a pectoral fin on the ridge of its neck and a dorsal fin on its back closer to the tail end. These small fins are almost completely transparent and difficult to see as they undulate minutely to move the creature sedately through the water, completing the illusion of floating seaweed.

10.Dumbo Octopus
They are benthic creatures, living at extreme depths: 3000-4000 meters, and are some of the rarest of the Octopoda species.

THE ICE MAN – TrantricMaster | Dont Try This - Its Word Record

Name: Wim Hof
Age: 48 Years old
Nationality: Holland

A man who calls himself a tantric master broke his own world record by standing engulfed in ice for 72 minutes.

This is not your regular stunt. Hof ready has 9 world records, and has trained hard for many years to withstand cold, much like some monks do in Tibet.

Hof can actually regulate his core heat to control the temperature of his skin. Something of a medical enigma, Hof is able to withstand cold that could kill or seriously injure other people.

“Hof will wear Everest boots, shorts, gloves and a cap. He is carrying his own backpack which will give him some extra protection. But other than that – his body will be naked.”

In January, Hof ran a half Marathon (21 km) above the polar circle in Finland. He wore only a pair of shorts and no shoes. The ground (snow) temperature was 35 below. In a few months time, he’ll try something similar on Everest’s north side. The expedition, led by Dutch Werner de Jong, will try to set a new world record as Wim attempts to climb parts of Everest wearing only shorts.

Wim Hof, 48, stood on a Manhattan street in a clear container filled with ice for an hour and 12 minutes Saturday.
Hof said he survives by controlling his body temperature through tantric meditation. Tantra is an Eastern tradition of ritual and meditation said to bring followers closer to their chosen deities.
Hof’s feat kicked off BRAINWAVE, a five-month series of events in New York exploring how art, music, and meditation affect the brain.
